One major change is that I have given Swiss and German coins their own pages, the collection was starting to get too big to stay on the world coin page.
2-18-10 - An update of the British Halfpenny page, added new George I, George II, and a Victoria Proof Halfpenny.
1-10-10 - I am back from the NYINC show and it looked to me like a very good show. I had a bunch of bids in the Heritage auction earlier in the week and was able to win about 50%, I also picked up 3 new pieces at the show. I attended on Friday and Saurday and both days seemed crowded with a lot of dealing going on which bodes well for the year. On the down side prices seemed higher than I would have expected, particularly in the auctions, perhaps the recession is ending. New coins have been added to the British, Swiss, German and Halfpenny pages.
My technology consists of a Gateway MX8734 17" laptop, HP7960 photo printer, Epson 4800 DPI scanner, Olympus E300 camera with the two kit lenses, and a simple 2 light setup using daylight balanced CFL's. I use Picture Window Pro from Digital Light and Color for imaging, yes it's a lot different than Photoshop, it's made for photographers rather than graphics artists. It's also a lot less expensive.
